Emotions are raw, we are heartbroken and in such a psychological mindset we unknowingly let down our guard. This is the time when the enemy can strike and create maximum impact Our gut feel is that the Jihadis will use their most potent weapon now at a most vulnerable spot to create a devastating and dramatic event like 9/11.

The passing of the Pope, is an uniquely dramatic occasion for the Jihadis to create maximum impact and show their contempt for the rival faith through a mega terrorist attack, during or after the funeral and the election of a new Pope.

If the attack fortunately does not happen in Rome when the Western heads of state will gather for the funeral ceremony for Pope John Paul II, then it could follow soon after that. Rome has been an especially attractive target for the Jihadis, since it is the heart and center of Catholicism. And what time could be best than when hundred of heads of state would assemble there along with many other senior diplomats and millions of commoners.

The chatter indicated that Rome was to be a target during Millenium celebrations on 31st December 200, and then on every Christmas, New Year and Easter after 9/11.
