Malaysia’s prime minister says the Shariah - their Dark Ages Islamic “morality laws” are here to stay.
Benign looking Malaysia’s prime minister made a shocking statement when he said that enforcement of Islamic morality laws in Malaysia would continue despite a public outcry over a raid
early this year on a disco by religious department officials.
Disco patrons in Malaysia claimed Islamic law enforcement officials locked them up at the department's headquarters for 10 hours, and humiliated the women patrons of the disco by commenting on their attire and taking their photographs. But Badawi the Benign looking prime minister of Malaysia said; “There is no need to abolish these laws."

“There is no need to abolish these laws, only the enforcement methods need to be improved,” Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad
Badawi was quoted as saying by the New Straits Times newspaper.
Human rights and opposition activists criticized the actions of religious department officials who arrested 100 Muslims
at a Kuala Lumpur disco in January for alleged indecent behavior.
The “morality laws” are a thin disguise for misogyny, as the following paragraph makes clear:
The disco patrons claimed they were locked up at the department’s headquarters for 10 hours, and accused officials of
humiliating the women in the group by commenting on their attire and taking photographs of them.
